This clock case back plate with latch is a practical replacement fitting for compatible mantel, tambour and other traditional clock cases. It combines a black-finish metal plate, mounting hole and latch so the rear access panel can be secured while still allowing easy access for servicing.

Three sizes are available, allowing the closest match to the original case opening to be selected. This is useful when an old back plate is missing, bent, broken or no longer closes securely after years of use.

The understated black finish suits many traditional black mantel and tambour clock cases. Because vintage clock cases were produced in many different dimensions and mounting arrangements, the diameter and latch position should be compared carefully before ordering.
