German Art Deco Porcelain Mantel Clock

This German Art Deco Mantel Clock is an attractive vintage mechanical timepiece believed to date from approximately the 1930s, featuring a beautifully shaped glazed porcelain case, bold period dial and traditional German mechanical movement.

The clock has a distinctive Art Deco appearance, with a long stepped base, rounded central clock housing and decorative moulded rooster figures positioned on either side of the dial. The rich dark reddish-brown porcelain finish has an impressive glossy appearance and contrasts beautifully with the gold-tone bezel and large silver-coloured dial.

The dial features bold black Arabic numerals, a traditional minute track and elegant gold-coloured hands. “Made in Germany” is visible at the bottom of the dial, supporting its German origin.
