Pendulum Description

• Type: Vintage pendulum for German & British Art Deco mantel or wall clocks.

• Compatibility: Suitable for clocks by Enfield and similar German Art Deco styles.

• Bob Diameter: 48mm.

• Rod Material: Brass.

• Rod Length (including bob): 70mm total.

• Bob Material: Cast iron or heavy alloy (textured black finish).

• Adjusting Mechanism: Center brass knurled adjusting nut integrated into the bob, used to fine-tune the timekeeping by raising or lowering the bob.

• Marking: The bob is stamped with “S – F” (Slow – Fast), a common calibration marking for pendulums.

• Rod Head Description:

  • The rod head is flat and made of brass, as seen protruding from the side of the bob (SEE PHOTOS).

  • It is rectangular with squared-off edges.

  • It is designed to hook or slot into the suspension spring mechanism within the clock’s movement.

  • Provides the pendulum’s attachment point to the clock’s escapement mechanism.
